Mr Coots suggests the arranging _of a compromise with Ihc manufacturing cubic company to let the. lino from Fanning Island: no landed at. Honolulu, whence" it would go to 'Vancouver. Tho whole undertaking would thus he much bendtll-cd, and tho only extra •okt would be a. repeating station.
