VISIT TO OVER-SEA COLONIES. ITINERARY FOR THE JOURNEY. (Received February 21. 0.3-1 a.m.) LONDON, February 20. Their Alajesties tho Kang and Oueen nill lunch aboard the steamer Opliir on the 16th Aiarch. The Ophir, which will sail for Australia in tho craning «of the same day, is timed to arrive at Gibraltar on the 20th Aiarch, at Malta .on the 2oth, at Port Said on the 30th, at Colombo on tlie 12th April, at Singapore on the 21st April, and at Melbourne on the 6th -•lay. A stay of two days in each case will be made by the Ophir at Gibraltar, Malta and Singajwre. One day will be spout at Aden, and four at Colombo. Tiie Duke and Duchess of Cornwall will visit Durban. Capetown, and Canadian ports on their homeward journey, reaching Portsmouth again early in November. (Received February 21, 0.13 n.m.) SYDNEY, Februarv 20. _ The Hon AV. AlcCullcch, M.L.C.. chairman of the Ceremonials Committee of the Victorian Caomet, has waited upon the Governor-General, and submitted a. proposed programme for the reception and entertainment of tho Duke and Duchess of Cornwall in Mclbourna. Lord Hopetoun approved of the programme put before him. Received February 21 1.6 a.m.j MELBOURNE, February 20.
During the visit of the Duke anu Duchess of Cornwall to ..jelbourno, the Government will only provide for a few distinguished guests. Others will have to make their own hotel arrangements.
