ANOTHER RECORD BROKEN. One of the best evidences of the stable condition of financial matters in our fnidst is the reports wo receive from time to time of continued prosperous times with) our largo trading establishments. One of j the latest is from Messrs George and Kero ley, of “Tho Economic,” who state .thati the opening day of their annual summer sale yesterday has again eclipsed all pre-i vions records. As the whole of the trails-j actions are for spot cash, this is good I evidence that there is plenty of money j about if there is sufficient inducement to; spend it. Their sale will be con- j tinned to-day and until further notice. 28
