OAMARU SHOW

PRESS ASSOCIATION. OAMARU, November 15. The show of the North Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Association began to-day. Rain fell in the morning and cleared off in the afternoon. There was a capital entry of light horses, the best in the history of the association; but cattle and sheep were not so largely represented. Conqueror was the best thoroughbred stallion, Memachten the best hackney stallion and Anniversary the best carriage stai 1 i Ol i. Too cups were won. as follows: —Ayrshires, V . Cowan; fat stock, N.Z. and A. L. Company strong combing merinos, V,. Gardiner; Border Leicester, J. S. Holmes; Downs, Little Bros.; Lincolns, J. S. Holmes: dairy produce. Miss Gemmell (first cup); Miss Mitchell /second cup). Miss Coliis (third cup). The entries were so numerous in light horses to-day that the judging could not be completed.
