A meeting of the delegates from tho various ordnance corps was held msl night at the Mount Cook Barracks. The draw for the first round resulted;— \i)' Bn 1 :ei"r v. I’rtone Navuls, No. 1 Company Permanent .Artillery v. No. '1 Company Wellington Naval Artillery Volunteers ; No. 1 Company Wellington isaval Arliih ry Volunteers v. No. 2 Company Permanent Artillery.
The selection committee of the Wellington Football Association has chosen, the following teams to play a match at Miramar on Saturday next in order to enable it to pick the representative team ;—Probables (white): Godber,. Swan, Clark, Baton, Hawkins, Martin, Mount, McDonald, Collins and Wells. Possibles (colours): licrnsten v Horans, 11, Renal, -blomnn, E. Renal, Kerr, Wilson, Beck, Benue. Williams and Fraser. Emergencies: Full. Auld: halves, Barclay and McKinnon; forwards, Scott, Siirnctt and PJaylc. Barclay, being unable to get away, is therefore not include-. iu the team. ! IUU3SH ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND.
