LONDON, June 19
Nine hundred British prisoners at Nooitgcdiwdif, to which place they y.-ere removed, 'by the Boers on tho eve of Lord Roberts's arrival at Pretoria, are being fe I upon mealies—i.o;, Indian corn.
' T/hoiiuniforms qf tho captives are itr rags, but. they arc being supplied . with clothing by the Britislj, Consul, at Delagoa. Bay.. ■ As to tho prisoners released by the British from their prison at •WateVval, there are new 148 officers and 3039 men at Pretoria. Two thousand of these are found to be fit for service, and arc being armed with Mauser rifles.
