EVENING ENTERTAINMENTS.
After a lapse of ten years hit Bland Holt has revived in Auckland the sterling melodrama “New Babylon,' a play that was enthusiastically received when last seen in the colony. The company has in rehearsal a new play entitled “In London Town."’ Both these plays will.bo seen here on the return of the company next month, in addition to “ The War of Wealth.' Iho Australasian rights of the mach-talked-of drama, “The Absent-minded Beggai, have been secured by Mr Bland Holt. At the Choral Hall, Courtenay place, Fullers Waxworks and Vaudeville-Com-pany continues to instruct and entertain large audience:-:. A change ot programme was made -ast nisht lv the Perrocted Kinematograph Company at the Criterion Theatre, Manners street j and the new pictures were watched with interest and pleasure by a numerous crowd at each exhibition.
