NODINK’S STOCK. I' Messrs George and Kbrsley announce that the extensions to their premises axe nearly completed. To-morrow evening 'they will throw the premises open, for public inspection. The warehouses will be specially illuminated and decorated for the occasion, and an instrumental concert will be rendered from 7.30 to 9.30 p.m. On Friday their first grand spring show will be held. A special attraction in the dress department will he the sale ofNodines stock, which they .have recently secured on very advantageous terms. Of thirty 'missionaries who left- Australia last week for the Poona and Indian Mission field seventeen were from New Zealand. In the course of an address, prior to their, departure Hr C. F. Peeve, the director of the mission, stated that otthe “Christless millions of India 1200 passed into eternity every hour, and all but two Christians amongst them were eternally lost.” "With the thirty recruits how enlisted the number.of workers attached to the mission would be 100. and if all that remained for these to do was to save the 68,000 British soldiers in India they would be provided with a fairly extensive I and arduous contract.
