ROWING

A meeting of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Amateur Rowing Association was bed yesterday afternoon, Mr G. H. Bethuno presiding. Permission to take part in Naval cutter races until the new committee was .elected, was granted to the members of the Wellington Rowing C.ub, and- Wellington Naval Artillery Corps. The date of the annual meeting was fixed for Tuesday, November 28th. The resignation of Mr F. W. Mitchell as a member of the committee was accepted with regret. The Hon J. Carroll and Mr J. Stevens, M.H.R., have promised to be present at the opening of the boating season at Lake Horowhenua- to-morrow.
