The names of the prize-winners of unclaimed raffles at the All-Nations’ Bazaar are advertised in another column, and the secretary asks ticket holders to send in their returns early. Messrs Thompson Bros, and Co. are now landing 1040 tons of Newcastle coal ex Helen Dennys Mrs Moore, of Oriental Bay, sells Maravilla Ceylon Golden-Tipped Pekoe tea at 2s 6d per lb. Messrs Turnbull, Hickson and Palmer, engravers and printers, announce that they have removed to their new premises, corner df Jervois quay and Hams street. Hearn’s ’bus loaves Worser Bay at 7 o’clock to-night, returning after the performance of “The Cabinet Minister.’’ A notice having reference to a special rate proposed to bo levied by the Wellington City Council appears in this issue. Messrs Darby Bros, publish an announcement of interest to householders. A notice is given by tho Official Assignee having reference to tho Wakamarina Dredging Company (Limited), now in liquidation. Passengers leaving by the R.M.S. Ruahino are requested to embark on board the Duco at the Queen’s Wharf at 2 p.m. to-day. Messrs Francis Sidey and Co. will sell a small library of books to-day. Mr A. Lindsay draws attention to his stock of books in advertisement to-day. Tho creditors in the bankrupt estate of Thomas Maxwell Mclntosh, Lower Hutt, are summoned to attend a meeting to be hold at the office of the Official Assignee on Wednesday next. Mr Campbell, of the Oriental Tea Mart, Manners street, has potatoes, onions, oatmeal, figs, etc., for sale. , Mr H. A. Field, M.H.R., will address his constituents at Porirua to-night.' Competitions for Indies and gentlemen will bo played by’members of the Wellington Golf Club on Saturday afternoon.
