The newspaper “La Tribuna” declares that copies of the documents mentioned in the bordereau were sent in Esterhazy’s handwriting to Major Von Sohwarzkoppen- before the latter was aware of the existence of the bordereau. [Major Von Sohwarzkoppen has figured in the Dreyfus scandal as being the German Military Attache who received certain documents from an unknown spy. Froml our cable this morning it would appear that the Italian newspaper has reason to believe that Esterhazy was that person.] '
