A fatal squabble between father and son is reported from Yarrawonga, a town on the banks of the Murray, 160 miles north-east of Melbourne. The parties to the affair were a butcher named Green .and his son, and in. their fight the younger man cut his father’s hand almost off. Blood-poison-ing afterwards set in, from the effects of which the injured man died. Young Green has now been arrested on the charge of having murdered his father.
