The speech caused great applause in the Court, and there were cries of “Hallelujah” from tho’Salvation Army lassies. The disorder,-was quickly suppressed. ! The.prisoners wefeisentenced to death ! by. Chief Justice, Maddern,-- who, -in 'addressing Radalyski, said, she and others were carrying on a dreadful trade, with terrible results to the community. Tod, hci said, like many others, had fallen into the- trouble through thoughtlessness.
