AROUND THE WORLD'.TO GET CURED. . . ' . 58, Molesworth St., City, ’ .. ’ 3rd January, 1899. To Dr. SPEER, Wellington. ‘ ’ .. . .. . ■ Dear Siq,—Publish this testimonial, as it may interest some of the people in New Zealand how I,‘ the undersigned, have been subject to the’ terrible horrors of epileptic fits. This dreadful malady first made its appearance -on,me some ten years ago, while living at home in Leeds*-England. Gettin" nervous-about myself, I immediately consulted the local doctor, who troatecfipe for two years without success. While in London I took treatment, from a. doetorj;’arid also purchased one of Harness’s Electropathic Belts and, much to my sorrow, neither the belt nor the doctor did me the slightest bit of good. Still suffering with these awful fits, Thad to go to the United States of America, and being located in Buffalo, I took treatment there for nearly three years; and while in Chicago for the World’s Fair I bought one of Dr. Leyd's famous Electrical Belts, for which I paid $45. Still no result. Being a traveller, I found, myself in S.' Africa, Capetown, Johannesburg, and Durban, where I spent something like £7O or £BO in trying to get cqrecl. Still suffering, and.having a rambling disposition, I have at-laat -finally, landed in Wellington,, and decided to glye Dr. Speer a turn and after a couple of weeks’ treatment I have found, much to my surprise' and astonishment, that I am a different man, and feel convinced that the 'doctor has not- only cured me, but knocked my old enemy right oh the head. If anyone cards ’ to interview or communicate with ,me for further details I shall only be too pleased to do same at the above address. , . . . E. GIBBS. ' . Resi-ectsd . The following statement I . feel justified in giving to the public, as it may help others, and, if so, I have, performed a sacred duty to mankind Eighteen mouths ago I was taken, with a cold, pain in my chest, couhh wasting of'.flesh. • I called on a doctor,- who examined me, and said he “thought it-was a bronchial ctrouble, and treated me for 14 months. Durin" that time he said there, was nothing serious with the lungs; but, nevertheless, I was constantly losing flesh and getting weaker. The -said doctor left the city, and put me in charge of a brother practitioner, who said one lung was completely gone, and could do but little for me. In a short time I went to the third physician. He thought'at first there, was not much the matter but on a second examination said both lungs were badly diseased and could do nothing for me. By this time I was pretty well disheartened, but called on a fourth- He said there was little that could be done, and by this time I was unable to work. My wife then persuaded;me to call on Dr. Speer, who located the trouble, and pointed out to my own satisfaction where I felt' the inconvenience, and explained ,what was necessary in order to remove it without asking me a question. This was 6th October, and said that in a few days I should- be able- to return to my work. In, 15 days I gained 71b., and was at work in a week from the time I started his treatment, and have continued to improve;ever since. . The above are the plain facts of the case, and T will give any further information by addressing or calling onme ‘ ’ Mr. H. G. HAYES, ■ ■ ■ • ■ Kakori. .■ THIS IS THE ORIGINAL H.
