During the past three iponths fully 100,000 sheep have been sent by rail from Otago to Canterbury- The sheep sent are chiefly store sheep for fattening in Canterbury, where grass is now plenti-ful,-and they are then sold to a much greater advantage. So far as can be ascertained, fat sheep arc not sent in great numbers to Canterbury.
