Mr Edward Elworthy, a well-known South Canterbnry'-mnholder, died suddenly on Sunday- last from heart disease. The deceased gentleman for many vears took a lively interest in public affairs, and was a member of several different local bodies in Timaru. He was about 60 years of ago.
