Sho is duo hero about noon to morrow, and will leave on Thursday for the South, Hobart: and Melbourne.' BI.ENH EIM, FROM LIVERPOOL. Tho ship Blenheim: Captain Colville, which vciv'ol was off tho Xleuds on tho 11th instant, succeeded in reaching port nt, midnight on Sunday, after a passage of 123 days. She / left Liverpool on n-'uptembsr 33, and had fine weather and favourable winds to Madeira, ; thence unsettled Weather to the Equator, which was crossed when 43 days out from ■ Liverpool. Moderate winds wore experienced - on the run down to the meridian of the Cape, but tho passage across tho Southern Ocean :

'.mi made v/carisome by a succession of northerly grlea, of so iieicc a nature that on two oeoa.-io.n the rbipwas hova Vo for three days. Bstweon Capo Leu win aud Tasmania a seven-days’ easterly blow, witn bfgb seas, retarded the ve.-sei’s progress, but the trip across the Tasman Sea to Capo Farewell was accompli:h'.d iu Ih-i mint time of five days A light northerly bret-zo brought her from Cape Farewell to Terawhiti, which was reached on thy evening of the lltli instant, when a fierce gala from tho northward sprang no, and though Captain Colville sigh ;ed tho light on ftomas’ Island he could not keep his vessel np to the wind, and waa blown away to tho southward near Cape Campbell, when a southerly breeze enabled him to make the Heads, and sad, into tho stream on fcundoy night. No damage was done beyond tho loss of a sail or two. As tho Ellon Ballanoo was not in readiness and the tug Duco was otherwise engaged, tho Health Officer (Dr James) had to be taken off in a waterman’s boat. The cargo, part of which is for Dunedin, has already been published, Messrs Levin and Co. are the local agents.

TIJ.E JOSEPH SHI3. * The schooner that beat into port on Sunday night, and which was thought to b e the Jessie Nioool, from Tairua, proved to be a stranger to the port, viz., the Joseph Sims, which vessel left Lyttelton , last Thursday night week, and has been detained by northeast winds and calms. Her freight, consists of 70 tons of produce, on the discharge of which she proceeds to Motnekato load back to Lyttelton, . The Joseph 81ms is a smart-looking little vosßol'rf 82 tens burthen, and was built at the beginning of last year by Mir Robert Davis, of Broken Bay* Sydney, to the order of Mr J. Sims* of Kaiapoi, whom sho is named after, rfhe is 58ft in length, 23ft broad and 7i!t deep, and is fitted with a 20 horse-power oil engine, which propels tho vessel in calm ■weather at about two khoia per hour. She iia commanded by Captain Xlennie, who brought her over from Australia, but who has never visited Wellington previously in the capacity of a shipmaster. It is understood that the owner intends to run tho Joseph Sima between X-yttelton and Wellington, should sufficient inducement offer.
