London, November 3. The “Standard” says that if ever tho Empire is imperilled, Capo Colony’s contribution to the navy foreshadows tho spirit which would prevail in tho other colonies. Regiments, tho paper says, could be raised throughout the Empire equalling the regulars in eAloiency.
