CRICKET.
In the match between tbe Jewellers and Hairdressers on the Basin Reserve yesterday, the Jewellers made 134 (Dixon, 73 j Littlejohn, 12 j and Gordon, 10). The Hairdressers lost nine wickets for 69 (Reid, 29 ; and Ellis, 18). Dixon and Laurenson bow.ed boat for the Jewellers, and Pearoe and Downes for the Hairdressers. The match between tho Tradesmen and Combined Drapers was commenced yesterday. The Drapers scored 141 (Gibson, 19; Wallace, 11; Paul, 13; Chambers, 29 ; Birch, 18 ; Fairburn, 14; and Howe, 16), The Tradesman made 46 (G. Thawley, 9, and F. Moore, 6). Thawley and Moore bowled beat for tho Tradesman, as did Gibson (five for 15) and Chambers (four for 13) tor the Drapers.
