AQUATICS.
STAR BOATING CLUB,
A lagely attended meeting of the Star Boating Club was held last night, the captam (Mr Q. H. Bethune) in the chair. 'J he chairman stated that during the past week the committee had given an order to the custodian (Mr G. Lee) to build two now sculling boats. The committee had come to the conclusion that that was tho only addition to the plant it could make this season. In reply to a question, Mr Bethune said attention would be paid to some defects in i the old junior sculling boats. —It was decided that the annual ball, he held as utual, and the following committee was appointed to carry out the arrangements: The president (Colonel Pearce), captain (Mr G. H. Bethune), deputy-captain (Mr C. Pearce), Messrs J. E. Smith, N. Galbraith, C. J. Cooper, W, I. Blair and 0. B. Trimnell. It was decided that the prizes won during the past season be presented at a dinner, for which the following committee was set up • President, captain, deputy.oaptain, Messrs F. Pownall, A. H. Barnett, J. R. Morrison, J. E. Widdop, A. W. Newton and W. Highman.
