RUGBY UNION ANNUAL,
’1 he Wi-Uinston Rugby Union Football Annual (compiled by Mr VV. 0. Marter for the oarrent year has just been published, on the same comprehensive lines as has distinguishod prior editions of the same publioation. There are a number of special articles on subjects of interest to footballers in general, besides copious statistical information, the laws relating to the game, and all rulings, English and colonial, being set out in detail. Mr T. It. Ellison’s contribution on the prospects of a New Zealand team visiting England will commend itself to players in. all parts of the colony, the writer having had the advantage of observing the conditions prevailing at Home during the native team’s tour in 1889. Tjiere is also an interesting account of the Southern tour of the Wellington team last season. Altogether the Annual will bo found rnost nsoful by players, and of considerable assistance to that largo section of the public who follow the game wi ( h interest, The illustrations have been particularly well reproduced, especially that of the Now Zealand team that had suoh a successful campaign ia Australia last season.
