The City Rifles paraded for Government inspection at the BrilUhed last evening, there being present on parade 50 of all ranks under Lieutenant Snodgrass. Major Colima acted as inspecting officer. , , The club-room recently prepared by the members of the City Rifles was opened last evening by Lieutenant Snodgrass in the absence of Captain Duihie. After the opening ceremony was over the members gave three cheers for Captain Duthie to show their appreciation of the assistance he gave them in furnishing the room.
