POLLARD’S OPERA COMPANY.

The final performance of the gorgeous speotaole * 1 Bjiu-Djin ’’ took plqoo at the Opera House yesterday afternoon before an enthnisiastio audience. Last night “ Bocaaooio” was presented for the second time. The dressing and general mounting of the opera, with capable acting, make “ Boccaccio ” one of the beat performances Mr Pollard has ever given. Mr Percy, as Latnbertuccio, and Misa May Beatty, as his frivolous wife, caused shrieks of laughter. The march at the opening of the third act was honoured with a double encore, the various movements being performed with the precision of “ regulars.” “Boccaccio” will be repeated to-night for positively the last time, and to-morrow Mr Pollard-will produce for the first time here, by his company, Lecocq’s world-famed comic opera “La Fills de Madame Angot.” It is many years since this popular work was heard here, but as almost every note of Leoooq's charming music is familiar to moat people, there is certain to be a crowded house to welcome such an old favourite. The cast to-morrow night will be a very strong one, including Miss Mitchell, as Clairatte ; Miss May Beatty, as Pomponnet; Miss Annie Curtice, as Amaranths; while Misa Maud Beatty will appear in a female character for the first time on any stage, as she is oast for the part of Mdlle Lange ; Mr Alf. Stephens will be the Ango Piteu ; Mr W. S. Percy, the Laravandiere; Mr E. Nable, Louohard, and MrH. Quealy, Tronlts. The dressing and mounting will bo up to the usual standard of the company, and during the third act one of Mr John Wallace’s novel ballets will be introduced. The entire production will be, as usual, in the experienced hands of Mr Tom Pollard.
