ALLEGED FORGERY OF A SAVINGS BANK ENTRY.

At the Police Court; Mary Hall was charged that between the 23rd February, 1892. and the 13th January, 1896, she did forgo a certain entry in the Auckland Savings Bank pass-book issued to Nathaniel Hall, such entry purporting to be an entry by a proper official .of the bank of the deposit of 4405 7s 9d. , ’ William Macdonnell, altos McDonald, a yoimg man, was similarly charged. They were remanded till the 13th.
