A POST-SESSIONAL ADDRESS.

By Telegraph.—Press Association, Christchurch, January 10. Mr C. Lewis, one of the members for Christchurch,; addressed his constituents to-night. There was a large attendance. A vote of thanks and Confidence was proposed, and also an amendment of thanks, with an expression of disapproyal of Mr Lewis’ action on the Old Age Pensions Bill. The voting for and against the amendment was about equal, but.. the Chairman declared the amendment lost, amidst disorder. Tfifl original motion was then put and declared carried.
