The New Zealand Swimming Association haa elected the following officers : President, Mr Roland sfm. nt. Clair; vice presidents. Messrs J. M. Brigham, Gao. Dnnnett, inn., Seymour Thorne George, ihos. Henderson. J. J. Holland, M.H.K., S. E. Hughes, John Marshall, Arthur M. Myers and John Heid; council, Messrs J. T. Armitage, John Baker, J. M. Brigham, jnn., J W. Browne, F. P. Burgess, G. A. Oreeth, H. H. Caere, <V. B. Kyre, J. W. Gittos, Albart Goldwat»r, jC. P. D. Buckie, E Philpot and James W. Bussell; registrars, Messrs Charles G. Enox and J. T. Armitage. . . The director of the Auckland Swimming Clnb handed in an application on behalf of his dub for the management of all the biennial, intercolonial and New Zealand championships for ths current season, to be competed for fn Auckland on March 2 and 5 next. It was ’ resolved that the championships be allotted as applied fqr, snb|eet to the customary conditions, and that the Auckland Swimming Club be requested to submit its programmes to the council for approval
