OTAGO CYCLING CLUB’S MEETING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, January 8. The Otago Cycling Club's race meeting was hold this afternoon, and was largely attended. The weather was fine, but a strong breeze caught the riders .in the straight and affected the times. The Otago Wheel Race, two miles, was won by A. Holmes (Christchurch), 200yda, who had a close finish with W. Ferris (Oamarn), 165yds .while T. Maw (Dunedin) beat Sutherland (Christchurch) by Ift for third place. Time, smin 6 3-sseo. A. R. Barker did not start I in the Wheel Race, hut, taking full advantage of pacing triplets and tandem, won the Five-miles Provincial Championship easily, T. Clarkson second, being 200yds away.
