THE SOUDAN CAMPAIGN.

It has been decided to extend the Abu Hamed railway to El Dainer, on the confluence of the Nile and Athara, the lowest of all the Nile tributaries. London, January 8. The departure of reinforcements for the Soudan is being pushed on with the usmost expedition, all the available transport services being organised. - Sir Herbert Kitchener will eventually command a force of 18,000 Egyptian troops and three British battalions.
