BARQUE ABANDONED AT SEA.

The iron barque City of Carlisle, bound from Liverpool to-Adelaide, was abandoned - in a dismasted condition on December 31, in latitude 38 north, 12 west. The crew were rescued by the steamer Collingwood, which landed them at Las Palmas, Canary Islands. ..' . 1 *
