THE PROPOSED AUSTRALASIAN ATHLETIC TEAM.

The council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association has decided that it is inadvisable to send an Australasian team Home this year, but has invited the Australasian representatives to take part in the Wanganui Championship and other meetings. ' ' It was resolved to devote a percentage of the profits at the championship meeting to form the nucleus of a fund for sending Home an Australasian team next year.
