THE BRITISH IN WEST AFRICA.
By Telegraph.—Frees Association. — Copyright. London, January 5. News from West Africa states that two British gunboats are proceeding up the Niger, their destination being Lagos. A British expedition, comprising eight officers and 200 men, will bo despatched to Ediba, in the Niger territory. West Africa, to punish the Grogs river natives.
