WEDDING.

A marriage of great interest (says the Bradford Daily Argn? of November 17) took place this afternoon at the Synagogue, Bowland street, Bradford, between Mr Louis J. Nathan, second son of Mr Joseph Nathan, 553, Pembridge Gardens, Bayswater, London, and Miss Beity Yon Halle, eldest daughter i f Mr Maurice Yon Halle, of Kossefiald* Park Drive, Heaton, Owing to the smallness of the interior of tho Synagogue, admission bad to be restricted to ticket-holders. The bride was escorted up tho aisle by her father, and she was attended by Miss Amy Yon Halle. Mi?s Maud Von Malic, Miss Ncily Von Hal e (sisters), Miss Gertrude Nathan (sistcrof the bridegroom), and Master Jack Yon H*Pc, whilst Mr Philip Nathan, of New Zealand, brother of tho bridegroom, and Mr Laurence Yon Malle, brother of the bride, were the groomsmen. The bride's dress was ‘composed of white satin duohoase imperial, with full court train of a large and very handsome brocaded silk; bodice cut low and filled in with gathered chiffon, and trimmed with fine old duchcsse point lace (Hie gift of her mother), and her Brussels tulle veil was surmounted by a coronet of orange blossoms. Her bouquet of white orchids, crango blossoms and white heather, was the gift of the bridegroom, and she wore as ornaments a diamond and black pearl brooch, bangleandring, also tho gifts of the bridegroom, The bridesmaids weregowned in ivory white striped satin, veiled with white chiffon renaissance, and wore large sashes with inched chiffon sides and fringed ends, over a plain skirt of stripped satin. Two of them wore Parma violet velvet hats trimmed with Parma violets, plumes and osprey, and two white hats of similar design and trimmings. They each carried bouquets to match, which, with gold curb chain bracelets with monogram, were the gifts of the bridegroom. Master You Halle was dressed in a white sailor suit with a pale blue velvet collar. Mrs Yon Halle’s dress was of heliotrope Jancy nacre moire brocade, trimmed with Brussels lace. Her bonnet and bouquet wore to match. As is customary tho gentlemen did not remove their hats at any portion of tho service, and the bride stood at the right hand side of the bridegroom. The c remony was impressively conducted by tho Rev Dr Joseph Strauss. The service was partly read in Hebrew and partly in English, and occupied less than half an hour. During the ceremony the Rabbi presentjd the cup to the bride’s mother, who handed it to tho bride, and she in turn presented it to the bridegroom. After they had all tasted of the wine tho cup was returned .to .the Rabbi, and the bridegroom placed tho wedding ring on hia bride’s finger. After a repetition of the nuptial blessing the father of the bridegroom presented a cup to his son, and tho formality of drinking the wine was repeated, after which the bridegroom throw- the enp to tho Aground, and broke it with his foot, <ind tho ceremony ended. Breakfast was subsequently served at the house of the bride’s father, and invihe afternoon a reception was hi Id, where the wedding presents, numbering nearly 200, and including gifts from heads of the departments of Messrs L. N. Hardy-and Co, and a silver salver with address and testimonial from Messrs Joseph Nathan and Co.'s employees, Wellington, New Zealand, were displayed. The honeymoon is to be passed at London, Paris and tho Beviora, previous to taking up their residence in London.
