CONDITIONS.Nominations, which must be accompanied by nomination fees, last six performancea and colours, close at the Rooms, 2i, Vrillis street, on Monday, January 3rd, 1898, at 8.30 p.m. Handicaps will be advertised *n the New Zealand Times and Evening Post on Saturday, January 9th, 1893. Acceptances close at the Rooms on. Monday, January ITth, 1893, at 830 p.m.- In all events, unless otherwise specified, four must start, or no third prize ; three or no event. All events will be started punctually, and competitors must be at the post at the time stated in the Official Programme. No DELAY WILL BE ALLOWED ON ANY* ACCOUNT. Each competitor must wear the number placed opposite his name in the Official Programme, securely fixed on his back (cyclists on waistband of trousers). Any competitor winning without a number will be disqualified for that event. ■ The Committee reserve the right to postpone the Sports in the event of unfavourable weather.
