Mr A, Grant Duncan, of St. Gall, Switzerland, arrived in Am?k‘aud, from Sydney, this week. This is Mr Duncan’s first visit to New Zealand, although he is well known in Australia and South Africa. He is a member of the Swiss Alpine Club, and before leaving Now Zealand intends to make the ascent of Mi amt Cook.
