The Customs returns for yesterday amounted to £ W63Hs. The New Zealand Lean and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, has received the following a blcgram from London : Tallow Molium and inferior mutton tallow has advanced 3d per cwt since last report. By Telegraph,—Press Ai*oc*at\on',~-Covvri<jht, London, October 30. Tallow—Mutton, fine quality, SOs; medium, ISs ; beef, tine, l#s Od ; medium, 17s Cd. Silver is quoted at 3s 3gd per oz. Napier, October 21. TbeColouial Consignment and Distributing Company cabled to Messrs Kelson Bros, to-day as follows: “There is a general decline in thofrozen meat market. To-day’s quotations are— Beit Canterbury mutton, SJd ; Dunedin, 3d ; Napier and North Island, 23d.”
