CRICKET.
The following eleven his been selected to play against ihe 18 juniors on Saturday: — Ashbolt, C. Gore, Hales, Holdahip, Houldawortb, Lawes, K. Tucker, Upham, Waters, Williams and Weybonme. Any of the above who are nnable to take part in the match are requested to inform the Selection Committee not later than Thursday night. The match is to begin at 2.13 p.m. sharp on Saturday next.
The wickets on the Basin Reserve for today have been allotted as follows No. 1, St. Patrick’s College; No. 2, Drapers’ Association. - , Hairdressers v. St. Patrick a College, Basin Reserve, at 2 30 p.m. sharp :—Hairdressers’ team —Alpe, Bradley, Griffiths, Turner (2), Miller, Pearce, Read, Mercer, Downes, Hossen ; emergencies, Webster, Armitt, Solomon. The competition for the Junior Cricket Association's Cnp will not bo started until Saturday, 30th instant. The fixtures drawn, however, will stand good. . The annual match between the Bival and Paraparanmn Clubs will be played at Paraparanmn on the Prince of Wales* Birthday.
