The nominations for the special points prizes of .£SO each in four classes in connection with the forthcoming Agricultural and Pastoral show received on Saturday number competitors in each class as follows; —Draught horses, 7 ; Shorthorns, 8 ; Lincolns, 5; Romneys, 8. _ The minimum number of entries required in each class was three, so that the nominations were very satisfactory. * Tho show of draught horses, Romneys and Lincolns is expected to be very large. At a meeting of the Association on Saturday 103 new members wore elected, and judging from the entries already received the show promises to be the most successful yet held by the Manawatu Association.
