AQUATICS.
WELLINGTON ROWING CLUB. Tho initial heats of the Club Fours were rowed off last evening over the ‘ southerly course in perfect water. The results were as follow: —W. P. Cooke (bow), Sinclair (2), Hansen (3), J. Burke (stroke) defeated Easton (bow), P. Hoskins (2), Mead (3), A. McLaren (stroke) by two lengths ; Ellison (bow). Book (2), Macdonald (3), A. Hill (stroke) had an easy win from Q. Hoskins (bow), Robertson (i), E. Smith (3), X. Slinn (stroke) ; Thomson (bow). Rash (2), Charters (3), T. Spencer (stroke) defeated Fisher (bow), Neilson (2), Nidd (3), C. Maudedey (stroke) by a length. Mr J. McKee and the captain (Mr W. Ross) acted as starter and judge respectively. The heats will bo continued as tho weather permits. '
