Hairy Logs got ou level terms with the leader, and they cleared the hnrdle opposite the stand together, SAnunbelle close up third. Ilex fourth. Prince Charlie and St. Simon being together a length in front of Troubadour and Miss Nol on. At the back of tho course Annabelle improved her position, and Ilex also made a forward movement. At the sixth hurdle Dummy had a slight advantage over Annabollo, and St. Simon elo od on tho field. Annabelle commenced to leave Dummy as they raced to tho second last hurdle. As they raced np the straight Annabolio’s victory was proclaimed, but she screwed a little at the last hurdle, and St. Simon, jamping splendidly, was almost on level tornu as they landed, and, responding gamely to tbs call of his rider, won, ami Ist cheers, by a clear length.
