Sailed, 1.15 p.m.—Mariposa, for Honolulu, with outward Ban Francisco mail. The Wakatu arrived In port at 1 this morning from Lyttelton, via Port Robinson, Omlhi, Kaikoura and Plaxbourno. According to Saturday morning's Wanganui paper, the Kennedy was to leave there that evening for Nelson direct, and not for Wellington. On the telegraph notice board last evening, however, appeared the information that the “ Kennedy did not sail," so that whether she is to come hero or not appears uncertain. Yesterday afternoon the Tyser liner Indcamayo left the Bluff for London. The Wareatoa is not expected to be ready to leave for Hobart before the end of the week. The Matatua is to leave port to-day. It is probable that she wilrnot call at Timaru for cargo, but will complete her loading at Lyttelton. As the Wainui was to leave Nelson at 8.30 last night and Pioton at 6 this morning, she should reach hero between 11 o’clock and noon to-day. The Orowaiti left at 4.30 on Saturday afternoon for Westport. . , The Mabinapua arrived at 9.50 a.m. on Saturday from Onehunga, via Now Plymouth, and later in the morning went alongside the Matatua to tranship into that steamer a large quantity of dairy produce. At 8 o’clock last night the Mabinapua left on the return trip to New Plymouth and Onehnnga, via Nelson. The Omapere, for South, left at 11 o’clock on Saturday night. The ketch Rock Lily, from Kaiapoi, sailed into the harbour yesterday morning, and at 10.20 anchored in the stream, coming alongside the breastwork at 11.45. She left Kaiapoi on Thursday with about 80 tons of potatoes (of which 60 tons are for Wellington and the balance for Motuoka), had fresh north-westerly winds coming up the coast, and made port as above. After landing the Wellington portion of her cargo the Rock Lily proceeds to Motueka to load timber for Lyttelton. At midnight on Saturday the Dingadeo left for East Coast and Auckland. The Huia, at 8.5, and Manaroa, at 5.10, left for Wanganui on Saturday afternoon. The Opawa, which returned from Blenheim at 10.20 on Saturday night, leaves again for that place to-night. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Matanra arrived in the harbour yesterday morning, and at 7.40 was berthed at the Queen’s Wharf by Captain Johnson. The vessel has already shipped a largo quantity of frozen meat, wool, &c. t in Southern ports, and at Wellington she will complete her loading, sailing hence for Loudon on Thursday next. The Wakatipu, from Melbourne via Hobart and South, arrived at 1.80 on Saturday afternoon, and at 12 o’clock the same night loft for Sydney, included in her cargo from Wellington being a largo quantity of New Zealand produce. The Corinna arrived from South at 9.10 a.m. yesterday, included in her cargo being 801 tons for Wellington. To-day the Coriuna leaves for Picton, Nelson and Westport. Tho Waverloy, with the scow Rata in tow, started away from the wharf at 6.20 -yesterday morning, bound for Sandhill Bay. Tho two vessels cleared the Heads at 7.40. . , > The Oreti, with a cargo of produce, arrived from Picton at 11.20 on Saturday night, and is to leave to-day for Wanganui. The Herald arrived from South at 9.30 yesterday morning, having encountered a strong N.W. wind after passing Capo Campbell. Her cargo consists of 544 tons of produce, of which 123 tom are for Wellington. To-day tho Herald leaves for New Plymouth and Groymouth. The To Anau, from South, came in at 12.50 p.m. yesterday, and leaves for Lyttelton to-day. She returns to Wellington on Wednesday, and sails the tamo day for South.

THE BARQUE G. M. TUCKER. This well-known regular trader in these waters entered the Heads about midnight on Saturday, and sailed into port, dropping anchor in the stream at 3.55 yesterday morning; She is from Newcastle with a cargo of 760 tons of coal for the Union Company, and left the New South Wales port on the 4th mst. For two days a strong south-west wind was experienced, but from the 6th until the 9th very heavy gales, blowing from 8.8. E. to S.W., prevailed, causing the vessel to ship & large quantity of water and to labour heavily. On the Bth the barque was hove-to tor 24 hours under the main lower topsail.and throughout-the storm she behaved splendidly. The gale had moderated considerably on Monday last, nnd for the remainder of the passage fresh breezes from the W.B.W, were experienced, and eventually the vessel succeeded in reaching her destination as above. To-day the G. M. Tucker will be brought alongside to discharge her cargo, after which, according to present arrangements, she is to proceed to Kaipara to load timber for Capetown. It is understood that the barque is making a little water—probably as a result of the heavy weather experienced on the present trip—but it is not serious, and there Is a probability of the vessel being placed on the slip before she leaves port. Captain Holm, the popular master of the 4# G. M., has now with him a new chief mate, viz., fclr Foster, who has taken Mr Powell’s place. The latter officer is understood to have Joined the barque JjsUs fts mate.
