The ordinary weekly number of the New Zealand Mail, published to-day, contains a summary of the month’s news, for dispatch by the outgoing San Francisco mail. The full and complete results of the general elections are given in a handy, tabulated form.
The Special Christmas and Exhibition Number of tbo Mail is in active demand, orders from both town and country agents having been duplicated, and, in some oases, triplicated. The Christmas Mail, consisting as it does of 80 pages of distinctively New Zealand literary matter, with 150 high-class illustrations, is, 'at its price of sixpence, one of the cheapest publications ever issued from a colonial printing press. Copies for dispatch by to-day’s English mail may be had (wrapped and ready for posting) at the publishing offices, Lambton quay, qr may be purchased outside the General Post Office.
