Tho Premier of New South Wales has wired to Mr Turner suggesting January 26fch, Anniversary* Day, a« an appropriate date for tbe issue of the Federal Convention writs. Mr Turner concurs aud thinks there will bo no difficulty in arranging a date for the elections suitable for all the colonies.
