THE PETONE MURDER.

Stephen Bosher Charged with the Deed,

On Saturday morning a charge was sworn against Stephen Bosher, now in gaol serving a sentence for bigamy, of haring murdered Mr and Mrs Jones at Petone on the 27th August. This man was one of tho principal witnesses against James Shore, who was first accused of the crime, but who was discharged by tho Grand Jury. Tho # police hav.e # been most energetically keeping up their enquiries into the case, and at last matters have been brought to a head. Tho case has been placed in the hands of the Crown Prosecutor, but owing to the illness of Miss ileoce, tho woman with whom Bosher committed bigamy, the case will not be hoard until about January 11th. The hearing of the evidence will, it is expected, last nearly a week, as there are about CO or 70 witnesses to be called for the Crown.
