Quotations; Full-woolled crossbreds, well-saved, sid to G-fd; good, 4£d to sd; medium, Bsd to 44d; inferior and broken, 1M to 3d per lb; dry pelts, 2d to fid ; green pelts, fid to 9d ; early shorn, up to la each, Hides—These continue to meet a steady market at late rates, which we repeat, viz. Plump heavy ox, well flayed, 17s to 17s fid; medium, lla fid to Ifis ; green cowhides. Os to 12s each; damaged and sloppy, Id to 2d per Jb. Tallow—Market dull, with limited quantity offering, Having no change in values to report wo repeat last week’s quotations:—Prime mutton, 15s to 15s Cd; good mixed, 14s to 11s Gd ; inferior and badly rendered, 12b to 18s Gd per cwt. The Now Zealand Farmers’ Dairy Union report that during the last month they have made 104,G711b of butter from 250,295) gallons of milk, supplied by 18 creameries cost of £2583 5s 9d, tho average price of milk being 2Jd per gallon on a standard test of B'G. Tho Union have shipped 1185 boxes of butter, totalling OG/JlOlb in weight, during tho last month. Messrs J. H. Bothunc and Co. yesterday sold by public auction at their mart, in tho estate ol the fate James Edward Fitz Gerald, C.M.G., a freehold block of land containing 2 roods 15 perches, being part of section No. 387 on tho plan of tho city of Wellington, having a frontage of 208 ft Otn to Clyde quay, by » depth of 132 ft, the purchaser being Mr James Trevor, at £1251, equal to £6 per foot.
