SALK OF TIRAUMEA STATION. Thin splendid freehold sheep run in the Wairarapa district, between Alfred ton und the East Coast, i.s to be sold by public auction to-day inr consequence of a dissolution of partnership among the owners. The station is an unencumbered frcenoiu property, which has been well improved tivined in a state of first rate efficiency; 0000 acres are in grass, well subdivided, and there are upon it all requisite station buildings and a good residence of eh-Vf-n rooms. The flock of sheep and lambs numbers about 12,500, all nearly pure Romneys, and these, with 350 head of cattle, 2-i horses, and all the station plant, will be given in with the run. The quality of the flock may be gauged by the fact that last year’s clip, which was shipped Horne, realised an average all round of 'J.j.l per lb in the grease. The nature of the country is well adapted for sheep breeding, being for the most part rolling ridges, lying about 500 ft above sea level, well watered by running streams in all directions; in fact, the healthy nature of the country is best attested by the large areas of country ho long settled and successfully worked by the rnnholdors of the district. Tho sale will be conducted by Messrs Hatcourt and Co. at their rooms, Panama street, and will commence at 2.30 p.m. In addition to tho Tiraumca Btation, a section of 105 acres, Fitzherbert, comprising n piece of excellent level country a short distance from Linton railway station, will bo sold, i This is to be put up for unreserved sale.
