Auckland, December 9, Tho new manager of the Now Alburnia has treated 235 tons of low grado ore met with in the work oi development, which has boon looked upon hitherto as non-payable and thrown away, and ban taken therefrom worth of bullion, which gives a profit of over 75 per cent, on the cost of treatment. Rich gold has been encountered in tho drive.
