SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. The match between the Rival and Midland first elevens was continued cn the Basin Reserve last evening. The Rivals, requiring 342 runs id win,- went in for their second innings, but they made a very poor show, six ;wickets falling for. 73. O’Sullivan (14, not out), Buck (13) and Read (11) did beat. Upham took four wickets for 17, The wicket played very badly. The match will bo resumed to-morrow evening. Following are the scores:—
