The Committee reserve the right to postpone the Sports in the event of unfavourable weather. All the above prizes are liable to a reduction of 15 per cent. Nominations, which must be accompanied by nomination fees and last two years’ performances, for events numbered 3,5, 8, 9, 12, 17, and 18, close at the Trades Hall, 123, Lambton quay, on Saturday, 3rd October, at 8 p.ra. Acceptances close on Saturday, 10th October, at 8 p.ra. Points in the Demonstration Handicap and Demonstration Bicycle Handicap to count as follows ; —First, 5 points ; second, 3 points ; third, 1 point. In all events four must start or no second prize will be given, three or no event. Prizes will be handed over on Saturday, 17th October, at the Trades Hall, from 2 to 5 p.ra. Post entries will bs received on the ground 15 minutes previous to starting the events. All events will be started punctually, and competitors must bo at the Scratch at the time mentioned on the Official Programme. No DELAY WILL BE ALLOWED ON ANY account. Each competitor {must wear the number placed opposite bis name on the Official Programme, or he will not be allowed to start. In all Protests the decision of the Committee will bo final. N. J.
