Definitions. —Qualified Hunters are horses that have boon regularly hunted with a recognised pack of hounds during tho seasons 1895 or 1896, and tho master’s Certificate of qualification must bo produced at the scales. Hack. —A Hack is a horse that has never won an advertised race at any time (hack and hunter races excepted), and fa not or has not been nominated in any race other than hack and hunter races at the same meeting. All nominations, entries and acceptances, accompanied by tho necessary amounts payable, Close at tho Club Hotel, Wellington, not later than 9 p.m. on the advertised dates of closing.
