KILLED ON THE RAPID.

While H,M-S. Eapid was being towed from Wellington to hyttelton on Monday night, an A.B. named Mope, gl years of age, who was on tho topgallant yard reefing a sail, lost his footing and fell to the deck. He was unconscious when picked up, and died 20 minutes afterwards.
